Fun facts about Amaya: She and her siblings are of Native American (Cherokee) descent on their father’s side. She is seventeen and a Junior in high school. After school she works late at the local diner, which is run by her best friend’s parents, to help with the money situation at home. She has three younger siblings, Tyler, Jonny and Talullah. Amaya loves hiking and being out in nature and wishes for adventure and to change the world one day.

About Tyler: Tyler is Amaya’s fifteen year old younger brother. He loves being on the soccer team at school and is actually way more popular than his sister. Tyler is super care free and never worries about anything (mostly because Amaya shoulders all the responsibility so he doesn’t have to). He’s kind of impulsive and is a believer in the impossible. I don’t have actor/concept art inspiration for all my characters, but Tyler is slightly inspired by Booboo Stewart with his long brown hair, which Tyler either has down past his shoulders or in a bun.

About Darren: Darren grew up in the 1840’s. Sadly, he never knew his parents, having been taken from them by a plantation owner after the man realized what Darren could do. Darren grew up owned by this man, who used Darren’s gift to turn things to gold with a touch of his fingers to make him exuberantly wealthy. Darren doesn’t trust easily, but when you do gain his trust, he is loyal to a fault. He would die for you. He has a pretty bleak and pessimistic outlook on life. While running for his life, he was put under a deep ageless sleep by a shaman and woke up a century or two later in the 21st century.

About Cleo: The phrase curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back is the best way to describe Cleo. Her curiosity and thirst for knowledge is her driving force. She loves a good mystery and is always up for a few hours worth of research. Cleo’s a bit disorganized but that’s just because she’s always got something going on in her head. She’s a lover of history and mythology, a seeker of the strange and unusual and protector of those who can’t protect themselves. However, Cleo is willing to push the boundaries and toe the line to get what she wants.

About Claire: She’s one of the sweetest and caring people you’ll ever meet. Quiet and more of a background force, Claire is the one who keeps Cleo’s house in order. Without her, the place would be a wreck and everything would fall apart. A lot of the time she’s also Cleo’s sense of reason and is happy to be her moral compass when she needs it. There’s much more to Claire than meets the eye though. She grew up in a small town in France until she was three when her family moved them to be closer to the rest of their extended family in the bayous of New Orleans. She speaks fluent French, having been taught from her parents and despite her dark past, she remains a bright light to everyone aroud her.

About Lewis: Lewis used to be best friends with Cleo, having grown up with her. They’re actually very similar in a lot of ways. He’s an opportunist and will do anything to get what he wants… even if it means having to break a few eggs to make an omelet. Lewis would consider himself very passionate, a seeker of the unknown and uncoverer of the truth.
